Mike,
I have your 35% Extra 260, with a DA 100 up front. For break in I'm using a Xoar 26x10 prop. Currently during a vertical uplines AND downlines, the plane rolls slightly left. I've had this issue with other plane, on downlines, but never uplines. Any ideas on correcting the problem.
Or should I wait untill the engines broke in, and I'm using my 3 blade Mejzlik 25x12, before I add any mixing.
Thanks

Definatley first use the prop you will end up with. But, thats a strange trimming issue. Sounds likely more mechanical. If you trim it neutral, pull up and see the roll then push back to level, being careful not us use aileron, does it again trim neutral in levwl flight?

When you push back to level flight, it flies straight and level. I have about another 2.5 gallons of fuel untill the engine is broke in, then I'll put the 3 blade, back on and see what it does then.
Thanks

If it still does this, put an incedence meter on the wings and check the panels root and tip for a warp. Thats a strange trimming issue.

I don't have a big enough incidence meter, To have the plane trimmed for level flight, the alierons are not flush. They are about a 1/16-1/8'' from being flush.
Thanks

Do you have access to a very flat large table... like a surface table... then you can level the plane and measure a "Water line" dimension for all the edges

With the open structure of the aileron, heating the covering will sometimes warp an aileron. Sight down the aileron from the root and tip to see if you can detect anything.

If you find something, flex the aileron to where it needs to be and reshrink the covering. Then you need to check and adjust the aileron linkage for binding as this may move one of the control horns slightly.

I'm surprised I did'nt notice it earlier, but the left alieron has a pretty big warp in it. It warp's down at the tip. I'll try and fix it, but as big as the warp is, I'ts going to be hard to fix.
Thanks
