Sometimes the only reason i think there may be intelligent life elsewere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us (think it was from someones sig?)

did he hit the prop? could have done serious damage to his face if he didnt duck.

Plus the aeroplane looked to be coming in a bit too fast for landing, should probably have taken a longer approach and came down with a shallower angle of attack. more to the point, what the heck was that guy doing on the flightline?!

I got hit in the side of the head by my friends park flier (horizon p-47). I was flying my stryker when simultaniously I heard my freind yell "look out!!" and at the same time I saw something dark approaching from the corner of my eye. Then WHACK!!!! I lost my balance and fell on the ground, but I did not loose my concentration on my strker thankfuly. I didn't worry much about being hit until I had landed a few secconds later.
It tuns out that even though the prop was spinning, it only gave me a small goose egg, and little cut on my cheek.

I guess that while my friend was flying, half of his elevator ripped off so that is why he could not control it. Knowing the sircumstances, I forgave him, and didnt give it much thought, but I admit, i was very lucky. Even thought it was a park flier, it still had a 480 brushless outrunner and hard prop nut on the end of it!!!

I saw a flyer at my field get clipped by a wing of a 60 size plane that had radio failure. The flyer lost is really nice CAP 232 I think it was. Fortunately he was alright, but it was a scary sight.

here is a collision that probably hurt substantially more... think about the laws of inertia and momentum

...at least the plane was fine...

BTW, who would stand at the end of a runway, C'mon man, ya gotta be crazy!
