Status: offline 		Any one have any experience with the GP Spitfire .25? Its construction looks similar to the combat mustang and corsair.

Status: offline 		I have been flying one for a few months. It has an OS .25 with a Macs Pre-Tuned Pipe. The sucker eats up the sky pretty fast and almost has unlimited vertical. Flight times went from 9 min or so to 6 1/2 min when I added the tuned pipe but the speed is worth it to me.

I used HS-85MG servos all around, an Electron 6 receiver, and had to cut a little door in the rear of the fuselage for the battery pack to achieve recommended CG without adding any weight.

This plane is fast and fun and always gets attention out at the flying field.

I can take and post a few pics if you want.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the feedback! I ordered it today. I'll be putting a .32 os in the nose so it should be similar to your .25 with a pipe.

Status: offline 		Yeah I think the .32 is a good call. It is cheaper than the .25 plus a pipe that is for sure.

I really enjoy this little plane.

Status: offline 		plus most .32 are lighter than the .25, same displacement physically, but just bored out. that boaring out is just shaving metal that the other one has.

Hi there,

I'm wanting to maybe soon get one of these and make a little speed plane, and put a Jett.35 or TT .36.

I wondering if I should choose the TT over the Jett because for one its better bore, and weights over 2oz less.

jett BSE .35 AAC 13.80oz w/muffler Bore: .787in Stroke: .730in
TT Pro .36 ABC 11.06oz w/muffler Bore: .819in Stroke: .693in

Plus I'm going to fine tune the .36 with polishing ports, tune the header to the speed prop and tune pipe with 25% nitro.

Only thing is on the flighing part: during the turns pulling real hard, does the plane want to seem to twist and go into a spin? I have a older .40 ARF GP Spite Fire and it wants to twist in the turns.

Since I'm going to do this, would you recommend puting C/F strips along the inside of the fuse and C/F the wing spar, C/F strips in the wing if it possible to put them in there without cutting the wing open?

If I do this do you think after puting some weight in the back of the fuse to balance the CG would make the airplane heavy?
