Talk about a bunch of people getting thier panties in a bunch over an opinion! I have NO experience with any CHEAPO knock-offs and never plan to. If you like you knock-off crap then good for you, china really appreciates you money. And yes thats my opinion, don't like it? don't really care! Geez I feel like some of yous with all my whinning now

Getting back to the question, I have alot of time running with the HPI Baja but little time controling them. IMO they are very durable and would recommend it to someone.

Sory bout th spling. Its not inglish class

PBJT

I don't have those cars but I am quite lucky to have Baja and FG.
Opinion is good but to say junk about someone's property in public is something else! It's all about respecting others peoples pride and joy mate!
For you guys who think those cars are junk, what car do you drive in real life?? maybe for some Ferarri owners, your pride and joys are junk, cheopo knock-off etc too because yours are cheaper than theirs?? grow up!

[Come on kids, are you going to pack up your toys and go home? Are you serously saying don't ever say anything negative about someone elses property?? Do you live in our real world or Romper Room? So say I owned a KIA Rio as my "real" car and you said it was a piece of junk...how do you think that would make me feel? Wait a second...I don't really care if YOU think my "real" car is junk. You also don't need to own a KIA to know is junk (same goes for cheapo toys) Nor do I care if you have negative opinion about my "property". Thats the thing, its my property and if I like it, I will enjoy it, and will let you know. If you don't like it I will take your opinion and play along side of you. Suck it up...join the real world were everything is not equal and if we all agreed it would be a BORING Forum!! Learn to enjoy opionions and add yours, try not to get offended..it is a internet discussion about little cars and buggies.

Do you own a Firehammer? If not your opinion is about as good as Ahmadinejad saying Iran is gay free.

I'd like to see you telling those cars owners that they cars are junk or CHEAPO when they are driving them next to you in real life .... or that comment only works on the internet forums

Anyway move on guys ...

Back to topic ....

I like my Baja and I also like my FG but somehow I drive my Baja more as we race them where I drive. I'd recommend a Baja 5b - you can have fun with it out of the box and for the price I think Baja is an excellent product and if I lost mine, I'd buy another one. But it's also good to have an FG as well as a baja

I don't like tomatoes. I especialy don't like to eat them raw. Do you grow tomatoes in your garden?

ewwwwwww. tomatoes are gross. I can't believe you are a tomato farmer..... We can't be friends now.

[sarcasm]

sheesh.

I never singled out anyone who owns something, I just made a statement based on my viewpoint and opinion with experiences. noone is slamming on anyone here, so somepeople shouldn't get all offended and defensive over it. FG, HPI, TRAXXAS, WHATEVER... it's all about having fun, and doing it whatever way you do !

EDIT: found out my LHS will be getting a SS in stock in the next few weeks to see if it "sells".......... sweetttttt ! if not, I get it for 33% off the retail price

I apologize also for getting out of hand about this. You guys have your opinion, I have mine. If we were to ever meet up for a race,I still say my junk will bring me to the winners circle.

I'll still be waiting for PBJT on the speaking circuit to cure my Chinese addictions.

Back to topic...Just buy a Baja. The only things I've done to mine are: Radio update to Spektrum DX3 (not necessary, but it operates my Baja AND my Chinamobile MT), outerwears for the pullstart, metal servo gears, TGN redneck filter, and X-Can (if you have neighbors you don't like, buy this muffler, tons of bottom end). It's a great vehicle. Just don't get an FG Baja, it's just a Marder. Now an MCD Baja on the other hand, take a look at one of those!

LHS should be able to sell a Baja SS easily, ours here has sold 35 Baja's so far, but hell yeah 33% off would be killer, just be sure to stuff some foam in the side body ports if ya run in that grass bowl cause the baja loves clogging up with grass there

are you guys getting your PMS or something?? if i am not mistaken, only females get that, and if i am not mistaken, this especially giant scale cars are not for girls.

c mon guys, i dont give a flying crap what you own. if you really have confidence in your brand, then no need to get super defensive like a girl who get caught cheating.

jezzzzzzzzz, all in all, baja 5b is great i dont care if you own, smartech, supertech, XRC Type R, civic, camaro, BMW, FG or whatever else.

and for those of you who own RC other than Baja 5b and FG, run what you bring.

you bring smartytech, smartypants or whatever, just play and bash. as long as it has 4 wheels on it, it is cool in my book.

instead of bashing on-line like little sissies who have been abused their entire life, why not have a bashing contest. see who can jump 20 feet in the air and landed without breaking parts.

if you dont want to do that, then shut up and do not get defensive.

you own a giant scale RC, so ACT LIKE IT DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, told me more than this 2-speed on baja. Where can i buy it, when i buy my 5b? Is someone of you have a 2-speed already on baja? Plesae post some pictures, i must see.

Oh, and how do you know about the Baja SS? I didn't find something on HPI site or Towerhobbies. Is there an article there outside? Plesae link it.
