Hehehe, thanks Stump3r .
But this wasn't doing real heavy flying, just hovering around and re-trimming to my adjusted flybar and of course the huge batteries . So the engines (and i!!) can get used to the extra (the largest is twice the weight of the stock lipo!) weight and i can see how it behaved.

Even on stocks, it runs fine for the looks of it, but it's late now, so off to bed. More news/updates tomorrow, i'll do some proper flying .
Can't wait to get my Xtreme's too, 5th week waiting already...

(Charging these takes ages on the stock charger :P Around 2.45 hours for the 1600 and 2 hours for the 1300. But that makes sense, as the stock charger only puts out 650mAh. Just divide battery amps with charge amps and you'll have an estimate (in ideal situations) right. And note the adjustments to the balancing-connector! Not getting an other charger yet as i'll be getting a bigger heli (400 size)).

They were not too expensive either, both €35 ($47). You can probably get them for the €-price in $'s.

Wow! Yes, that is amazing. I just got my Xtreme motors yesterday and put them in already. Working on breaking them in now. I have got to get one of these battery packs also. Do either of you know if there is a supplier in the U.S. for these Lipo's? I can't seem to find anyone as I searched on google for them.

Both Graupner and LRP are German companies. I believe Graupner 'sells' its brand/brandname for producers from outside Europe to use. (Or they simply repackage and increase the price.)
Normally Graupner is really expensive, but this LiPo was relatively cheap!

LRP has amazing quality/price ratio, i think that'll become my new favorite brand as their LiPo's for bigger heli's are also much cheaper and more powerfull!
And they are in a neighbouring country, so that's easy for support and getting new stuff.
You can call them on: +49 7181 40980 or email: http://info@lrp.cc for information. (When calling, keep the timedifference in mind, saves money ).
Also see: http://www.lrp.cc/e/lis/, which i just found myself .

Hey guys- I just got my new Xtreme motors broke in earlier today and decided to give it a fly in my living room. I went from about 6 or 7 mins on my worn out stocker motors to 9 1/2 minutes on the new xtreme's. I was hoping for 10+ but maybe that just won't happen with the little bit up aluminum upgrades that I did. This was with a DN lipo also. I have a question on the lipos. I wanted to check the lipo voltage after that run. What is the proper way to test each cell on these 2 cell lipos. I used my multimeter and checked the charging connector on the lipo (3 wires). I checked the outer 2 wires and I got 7.45 vdc. I checked the left wire and center wire and got 3.70vdc. I then checked the center wire and the right wire and got 3.70vdc. Did I do this right to check each cell? If so, I'd say they are incredibly balanced.

Thanks for any info.

yup, that should do it =) sounds like they are indeed in good balance. Something has gota be a little weird though because 3.7 + 3.7 does not equal 7.45v. You should have something like 3.72 and 3.73 or something =)

HI mrasmm,

Thanks for the info. You are right on the voltage. Somewhere between doing the reading and going to the computer, I must have messed up my numbers in my head. I just checked another pack and it was @ 7.59v 3.79 + 3.79. That comes to 7.58 but I'm sure it rounded. My multimeter only goes 2 digits, not .000.

Thanks.
