Enigine runs fine, transition and midrange is great and the top end is really strong.

Problem:

Idle is fine....... for 1-30 seconds then it stops like like a kill switch was flipped.

It dont speed up or slowly slow down when it dies, its sudden and varies on time.

I feel i have the needles on the money.

Is this a predetonation problems with the fuel im using? Omega 15%, Works great in the 12 other planes and helis i have.

Without seeing the engine, and taking time to set up the carb, we'd not know what the difficulty may be. However, it does sound like the idle's a bit rich and the engine's loading. Here's how to set up the carb:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1579985/tm.htm

You'd only get detonation at full throttle. There is no such thing as "predetonation". Model engines will detonate at high throttle settings if the fuel has too much nitro, the compression's too high, if it's overloaded, or allowed to run too hotly.

The engine does not load up and is not rich, ive went way past rich and way past lean to make sure, been in the hobby for 28 years.

A guy at the field told me he has 2 Supertigres and neither would stay running, He changed fuel to some kind thats labeled "for Supetigre" and he said once he did all is fine, he said he made no other adjustments.

The supertigre 60 i had for over 20 years ran fine on anything i gave it, lst year it threw a rod finally.

The idle on this new one is super stable and does not change up or down, it just dies instantly after 1-30 seconds.

Ill remove and clean the carb i guess but its weird.

Please follow the suggested procedure. If you don't, you may likely never get the engine set correctly. 'Tigres do need to be set up carefully, and you must start out with a too-rich idle, get the top-end dialed-in, and then go for the idle. Many people get the idle first and then find out that the engine just won't set up well at all.

I always start out rich and peak the top end first.

Using a OS "F" Plug it idles forever so i guess problem solved.
