Status: offline 		hpi says to do it after 5 tank of fuel....how often is too often? just wondering when you guys clean it...all my driving is on the street...

Status: offline 		which filter do you have? if its the tiny foam element that is like the surface area of a fingertip then every 5 tanks is about right, for an upgraded motorsavers air filter, every 10 tanks, you can make them last longer if you are less picky, just oil them good

Status: offline 		clean it good before basshing and use some good quality oil on it, you can go for maybe an hour or two is what i would recommend, the best oil is motorcycle air filter oil, its tacky, catches every bit of dirt, and 1qt is about $6, never have to buy any again
