Jerry bates for the P-40 or Ziroll also I believe Dave Platt still put out a real nice Spitfire, and Bob Holman r/c plans is always a good place to start looking for scale r/c plans
for WW2 war birds along with Nick Ziroll, Brain Taylor are some of the very best in r/c scale WW2 fighter planes but most of his plane are 1/6th and 1/5 scale , a 1/5 scale plane
is still going to be a good size plane most of them will be about an 80 inch wing and around 19 to 24lbs. depending on how you build.
Brain Taylor put out one of the very best F 4 U that you could ever build as far as scale goes and his plane are light and fly great but again they are smaller than 1/4 scale
but above all stick with the big name designers in r/c plans you may pay more in the long run but you wll have far less headaches and you won't be wasting your time and money!
