Hey Don,

Make sure to pack Joe in your 53' travel home, hopefully you'll have room..... I heard he likes to fly off grass. We have plenty of that. Glenn better show for this event too. Tell him to bring his black Bandit..... It'll do fine off our runway. Mark too....., two Bandits are better than one.....

Hey Cory!!

Thanks for all of your help with the Media.... You have been a great asset to our club and we thank you very much for all of your support. Events like these are a team effort and people like you help make them happen!

thanks so much,

Rick

thanks rick- ANYTIME man! Its people like Rick Boyer (and Dave Renninger, Dave Kilmer, Jim Ellis and Lee cuz thats who else i really know lol) who make getting into and STAYING in the hobby all the more worthwhile. Speaking of media i got a newspaper photographer to come out Friday to take some action shots to put in for saturdays paper so for those of yous bringing your jets early- heres an oppourtunity to get you and your jet in the paper. Not that yous would come early just for THAT reason or anything lol. And they MAY (or may not- you never know what to expect from the media) do some interviews Friday. I am pretty psyched for the event as I think this may be one for the history books as far as Jet events in Southeast Pennsylvania is concerned. I think theres going to be LOTS of the public coming. Who knows maybe the next Top Gun pilot will be in attendance?? Later guys!

Cory

Hi Frank,

Yes, you can arrive on Friday night for sure. We will be setting up Thursday but the runway will be live. You can fly on 2.4 GHz Thursday and ANY frequency on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

That's correct the Tri County Wingsnappers field is 1.9 miles away. at times you can hear and see the planes from one field to the other. The Farview field is 55 acers and was a golf coures, the site is to good to pass up. It's are feeling that in 2 years there will be only 2.4 used and not a issue.

I wouldn't count on this, 72mhz has been around for a long time and I think it will take more than 2 years to make it go away.

Ian,
Thanks for your input. We'll just plug along with our assumption that 2.4 gig will be successful,as will our club, based on this technology, and our proximity to the other club.Seeing as how we only started in June of this year, and have 47 members already, and this jet rally is our third event,I'm optimistic that we'll be ok.If you ever get out this way, come and see us.

Erik

All,
I just received a call stating there is a rumour that 72 mhz will not be allowed on Friday, the 19th.This is categorically false.72 mhz will be allowed Fri,Sat,and Sun.Hope this clears any misconception.I will say that all 5 of we founders of this club are active r/c jet pilots, and this will be a high priority for our club going forward. If you are nearby and even remotely intereseted in jets,it will be worth it to come out and hang with us.There will be numerous cd's there, and we all will be anxious to help anyone with waivers or any other issue we can.

Erik
