My 450 starts out nice, easy to hover, but after 30 seconds or so gets "jumpy", as if I was banging the throttle up and down real fast. But, I was only working the cyclic. Any ideas? ESC problem maybe? I did just put a new one-way bearing and main gear in, but it flew great for the 1st 5 mins or so, then started this.

Probably a battery problem. Are you using at least 15C, 2,000 MAh? It helps if you have a charger that will discharge and tell you the MAh consumed (i.e. Great Planes Triton).

The undervoltage cut-out on the ESC could do that depending on how you have it programmed. Check the battery.

thanks guys. I did just recently reprogram the esc and I hadn't done that before, so I could have easily screwed it up. I also didn't think about suspecting the battery. I'll try a different battery tomorrow.

Many thanks.
