Status: offline 		I just did a range check with my new Laser 6 radio and was totally impressed. I was in the car, using 2-way hand-held walkie-talkies to talk to my son to do the range check. The antenna was down, and I was over a quarter mile away and he was still getting all the signals I was sending. To top it off, there was nothing line-of-site about it. The radio was inside the car, the plane was inside the garage. With the antenna extended, we had complete connection at about 3/4 mile; did not check beyond that. It was raining and the traffic was too much of a problem to go further. When we checked the Futaba, it didn't fare nearly as well. Anyone have similar experience?
