OK I,m new to this and figured a Trex heli was the way go. My question is about charging the Batt that came with the kit. The batt that I got is a Align 3s1P Li-Poly 11.1 volts 2200 mah. I need to know what charger I should get for it. I'm guessing thats what the 4 wire plug coming out of the batt pac is for.

you need a LIPRO.PLUS 5 5 IN 1 INTELLIGENT DC BALANCER CHARGER 0.1 TO 5 AP

ONLY THING IS YOU NEED A 12 VOLT BATERY OR TRANCE FORMER TO RUN IT

align uses the same balance end as esky eflite walkera csrc v2 great planes electrifly parkzone just to name a few

the csrc charger will work, so will something like the ICE or the triton with the equinox balancer, also the batam bc6 will work as well. It really depends on your budget

If you are looking for a lipo only charger, check out www.fmadirect.com and look at the cellpro 4s, or check out csrc's charger.

Whichever charger you decide on, I recomend it be a balance charger such as the Digital Balance Charger we sell. As you figured out, these charge through that 4 wire plug coming out of the battery and charge each cell individually. This makes the batteries last longer and perform better.
