Those are the settings I am using and don't have enough aileron to do an aileron roll. You might consider working to get more throw on the ailerons. Jim

I'm wanting to finish my right wing tonight, but a buddy of mine is building a Topflite Cessna 182 I think it is. Any he's have a heck of a time getting everything straight. So my work table is filled with a big cessna that is being reworked so the wing sets on straight and level. Oh well, gives me a break before I finish sheeting the bottom of the Right Wing, and start putting on Cap Strips.

I can't wait to start on them Ailerons, and Flaps. Those two areas seem to be the most labor intensive part on this plane so far. I'm one of those who likes it to be perfect before the sanding starts, not after the sanding. I'm thinking by next week I should be starting on that big "O" fuselage.

Fast Richard: We'res those Flaps?

were doing the pin stripping and doing the logo's,,,, I will post some pic's when she gets close, Hopefully some radio installation, I am still looking at which engine to run, I know that glow can be a little messy, but the plane deserves the sound. One stick at a time, your build is going great, I love when you have everyone jumping in and helping,,, It keeps me loving the hobby

It's not that the aileron's and flaps are all the difficult, just more of a pain on this plane, than normal kits. However it is a good feeling once you get them completed, and hinged, and they work properly and line up. As you said on to the Right Wing.

Hello all-

Jeff -that was a consideration of mine as well, however with separate wing panels I think it is manageable for an apartment or in my case a town house-

Started the aileron and flap:this should go along pretty quick and then among other projects on to the right wing panel.

For starting the Right Wing Flap, you can cheat a little if your not to far ahead. Once you've got the sheeting on the leading edge your instructed to glue the 3/32 x1x18" plywood stip to a leftover 1/16 balsa strip. Making the wing TE Sheeting for the flap area.

If you skip ahead to " Building the Flap" Step #1 through #3, go ahead and sand the top even with the Outer trailing edge. It's much easier to get that odd angle, and everything nice and straight. Then all you have to do is remove the flap LE, and return to building the Wing Step #25 were you left off. Once you return to "Building the Flap" Step # 3 all you have to due is add the 1/16 spacing and glue it back into place.

That makes life so much easier, than trying to sand that angle by eye.

Hope it helps someone
