sorry - only know about the copter X ... would have loved to give you a side by side comparison, i did read a post somewhere here saying that they are both good t-rex clones and that particular post (or one of them) said they would have given the Copter X an edge over all as the best clone.

i know this may not be a lot of help ... but hopefully it keeps the thread going wherein someone will answer you to the point.

ciao

So does the CX still hold up against the Trex? Would like to hear what some of you owners are saying after flying for the last 6 months since last post... Any new info on these? May have to rethink my EXI airframe...

many of my original cx parts have been replaced with align, but not because they wore out, more to do with stick failures. what remains is the basic heli, and i would buy another without a thought. it is trex 450 SE V2, and has some features, like the aluminum anti rotation pin.

Please Help!!!

I have been looking and trying to compare Copterx 450SE V2 with Trex 450S V2, and I have decided to go for CopterX 450SE. Reason why I have chosen CopterX is Iam new to hellis and since most of the parts on the CopterX is metal it seems to be hard to break them at the time of crash and even if I break them they are much cheaper to replace than the Trex. Iam thinking to setup CopterX 450 with GY401gyro, Futaba S9257 EP Heli Digital Rudder Servo, 3x Hitec HS-65HB Micro Servo U, Futaba R168DP 8-Channel PCM Receiver and 2200 3cell 20C lipo and Futaba 7CAP Tx.

Can anyone advice whether I have made a right decision or not and also what might be the pros and cons of carbon frame and aluminum frame. Thanks.
