Status: offline 		I decided to take the plunge and bought 3 DeWalt A123 packs. I will be taking these apart and making 8 cell packs for my planes. I have heard that soldering to A123 cells will ruin them... Someone suggested that I cut the welded on tabs with a dremel and solder to those, is that what you guys usually do ? Anything else I need to know about taking apart DeWalt packs and using the cells ?

Can I buy all three of your BMS control electronics modules from the packs you are taking apart? its the electronics box inside the DeWalt battery that plugs into the power tool. If you could let me know that would be great - I need at least one for an electric Trike project I am building... 317 501 4715 (Indianapolis, IN)
