Well this digital caliper thing is great. Also a set of good Align hex head wrenches is very good. if you planning on sticking with it a while, may as well have decent tools tomake things easier

if this is your first heli then i doubt you're going to be able to hover it in one spot regardless of how good the components are. plus it's not really that big a heli, you can't hover as easily as a 600 size electric. that being said, i can hover the eflite blade cp in a 3-4' circle. how long have you been flying it?

upgraded components like digital servos, better gyro, upgraded metal head parts will help but really do you want to spend that kind of money on this heli?

look for any slop in the head, turn the heli off and play with the pieces to see if there is any movement there shouldn't be, mine had a lot of slop in the blade holders which was a loose feathering shaft. you can also replace the stock dampeners with some stiffer ones.

Shoot if you can take out and hover/drift around for a while and bring it back in the house one piece. Pat yourself on the back

Would someone please show me a close up picture, with a little explanation, on how to properly attach the battery to the Belt CP? In my (minimal) instruction booklet it shows strapping the velcro strip around the battery and slot (which does nothing). In another picture it shows the velcro strip length wise over the battery. I can't really determine how this is to be done.

Thanks...

You run the strap through about halfway inside under and between the front skid and the frame and then wrap it around real snug around the battery. The battery wil then "appear to be hanging way out the front---push it in side and should be fine. Sort of like opening and closing a drawer

Oh yeh the connections are facing forward and on the left side

Thanks Cyclic Hardover,

I may be able to figure it out from that description but a photo would seal the deal if you, or anyone would mind posting one.

Thanks again...

Okay, part duex Turn it over and see the slot right under the front skid. Put it up intheir and then kind of thread it between the skid and the frame and bring it all forward. Then snug the battery all tight in the velcro. Thennn it looks like its nice and tight but hanging out the front. Normal ,so you just stuff it back in their and it'll hold.

This photo does not show the velcro wrapped around it. It only shows it sitting back in their. If the velcro were wrapped around it. Half that battery will be hangin out of the font of that slot. AFTER you wrapp the velcro--than shove it back in like the photo shows
It took me a while to figure it out too

Not sure what happened, but had a little mishap today and now have a broken flybar center holder. Seems that this must be a popular piece as many sites were sold out. This is going to suck waiting for parts any time something breaks, no matter how minor. Also need a main gear, which I have no idea whatsoever how it stripped.

I know this "mishaps" will be happening less often later, but now I'm thinking I may need to inventory some of my own parts. What would you guys stock??? Who is best for making small orders and doesn't kill you on shipping?

For the flybar center holder, should I go ahead and upgrade with some BLING???
