You guys have a sticky grip. One grip is hanging up more than the other. The Belt head is a little bear to set up. She'll fly fine though. By the way, those turnbuckes are a must have. My helo has transformed itself now that the tracking is dead-on, balls accurate![)]

Also There was some confusion about a Trex head on my Belt CP, let me clear up some missunderstandings.

***I dont have a trex CNC head on mine i was just really excited that it would fit.*** hope that answeres your question.

Sorry i couldnt help.

anyone have a good tip for loosening the arms on the rotor head control link arms, the pieces on the washout assembly? been trying to get my DX6i w/ AR6100 e to work (if anyone is running this can you help me, forward/reverse cyclic is on the left stick and pitch is on the right but my Tx is mode 2?? ) but anyways, so I'm going through trying to set everything up and I noticed the washout has a crap load of resistence to it, check and the washout arm connecting to the swashplate are tight as heck, been trying to work them around to loosen them but its taking forever and not working very well

http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=B3164904&pid=NESKY127&img=l - these are what I'm talking about, the hinge part is really tight (yes those are for a HBK II [)])

Never mind, figured it out, kinda, but got everything going smooth now

I had to chime in again on the big battery flying. Mind you, this is for scale type flying ONLY. I picked up this battery for free and since I've tried it, I love it. The helo flies very scale and shows how much brute strength the Belt CP really has. The battery is a 12C 3200 pack at 247 grams. I easily get a 15 minute flying session (with some short landing breaks) I plan on getting a 319 Gram 4400 Battery in the future to see how that does or I may just hooked my 2 2200 MAHs in parallel, one internal and one external and see how it handles the 325 + gram weight. With the added weight, it helps in the wind and smooths out the twitchy nature of a 450 size helo. With some Blade 400, 325 blades or 335s it would fly even better. What I noticed yesterday is it also helps with the pitching up in FFF as well. Just remember to get on the power a little earlier in the flare for approach. For you scale fliers out there, try it and see, if you have a larger pack around.

367 Gram twin pack, with stock 315 blades and she flies super scale. I didn't endurance test it as my two batteries were different in C rating. The blade sound is just sick! She still pulls away fast at 70 % and easily flies around and banks hard at 50-65% throttle. To pull in to a halted hover she needs about the same as pull away power. I like the not having to bleed off so much collective to decend. Now I need a big scale fuse to carry the larger batts. CH-53 or sky crane would be nice.

I think a larger single battery is the way to go though. You can easily hang a 3200-5000 MAH battery under the frame between the kids. With a 5000 MAH battery you really would need the 335MM Mains though as they are around 390 Grams.

Howdy I'm having more problems with this heli. I just Installed the alum. head and tail rotor and now I can't get the thing to stop spinning CCW. Any ideas on what I did wrong or how to fix it. I just doesn't seem to have enough throw. I've tried putting the plastic grips back on and it still does it.

Was the boom/belt removed? Are the tail blades spinning up toward the main rotor arc?(counter clockwise) Blade grips on right? I believe the control link needs to on the leading edge.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you say spinning CCW I'm assuming you’re talking about the rotor spinning counter clockwise right? Or is the hole heli spinning counterclockwise? If it is the rotor spinning the wrong direction make sure your motor is connected properly. Switching any 2 of the 3 wires going form the ESC to the motor will reverse it. But if it’s the hole heli spinning it could be the switch on your gyro got flipped over to reverse. Those are just the first couple things that come to mind. Hope that helps…
I just installed the aluminum head/tail on my belt, haven’t tried it yet. (waiting on a few more parts) So I hope I don’t have the same problem :-O

I would say either the gyro is working in reverse or not at all, what hapens when you swing it to the left and right with TX and RX switched on, you should see the tail rotor blades turn to compensate, A good way to notice which way they are turning is to turn both blades horizontal in the same direction paralell first.
(what does CCW mean)

If your using the stock gyro check the switch on it it should be in the reverse position not in normal position not sure why but thats how mine is and also you did have to take the belt off at the tail gear to change the tail assembly correct or did you just keep the stock gear and shaft. You might have turned the belt with out noticing, it's just a thought. Have fun fly safe

Always keep your eye on the birdy

Nuttcaze

Read back a few pages Flyingmaniac had the same problem with his wash out arms being too tight to allow much movement. He had to drive the steel pins out of the arms lube them up and reassemble it. Works fine now, but it makes you wonder how they can call them RTF! If they do fly them at the factory you gotta wonder who's doing it, and are they paying attention?

Just a FYI.
Have to let everyone know that JAG Hobbies (jaghobbies.com)
has the best customer service second to none.
This guy is great in taking care of his customers, even if you did not buy the product from him, he stands by the E-Sky name/product and does all he can to help you.
I have had to deal with other companies in regards to E-Sky and after you receive the heli you are on your own, NOT "JAG HOBBIES" they are outstanding
He also has some of the best prices on Parts for E-Sky King 2 and the
