In fact, I removed the plastic wrap a couple of weeks ago, flew inside for short bursts, checked the ESC and the ESC did not get hot at all, unlike it did with the plastic on. I kept a little piece of the back plastic on and put a plastic tie around it to secure it to the frame. The more I think about this fire, the more pissed I get. I had a Raptor previously, and as soon as the motor went out, everything else followed, and I could not get it back flying again. Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't happen with my Belt CP. Thanks for the link to the ESC and programming card. Is it hard to program an ESC? And, do anyone know the purpose of yellow looking ball with the three wires btwn the ESC and the receiver connection? Do I need to keep that on when I get another ESC? Any help would be appreciated.
