just as an fyi, it's very difficult to use the 6ch transmitters in the RTF kits with a sim, they are preprogrammed with the cyclic mixing and in order to use the tx the mixing must be "unmixed" before the sim can understand it. there are some work arounds but from what I understand they are difficult to get working. works fine with the 4ch tx though (no mixing).

I have downloaded the sim of the internet and it uh---- is ok for somebody who can't afford a good sim. The esky sim is pretty elementry but will give you basic skills. I have recenly gone out and purchased the Greatplanes G3.5 and it is on sale because they are releasing G4 real soon. The G3.5 is probably the best sim for beginers because of all the training tools availible on the program.

In my experience the best simulation and most accurate representation of heli flight has to be Reflex XTR. There are more than 30 heli's included in the software and the flight areodynamics are dead on. There is a training mode and autorotation practice. Comes in at over $200.00.....

FS one has 11 heli's with no autoroation and no training mode at $179.99

I do like real flight simulator and there are a good selection of popular helicopter models to choose from, but I find in some cases flying in G3 is even harder than flying in real life and the graphics are below other new simulators standard. $199.99 and tons of download content, expansion packs availible

Yeh, that'll work i guess. I just gave it a run up here to see how things are working and so far so good. However Elcheapo charger here says when the greenlight stops flashing, its done. problem is in red print and a warning says a max of 2hour charge time. i had the thing going for 2 1/2 hours and the light was still flashing away. it was the intial charge but i took it off. is this normal or abnormal here?

Mine usually takes about 3-1/2 hours. Next purchase - charger/balancer and more batteries.

Does anyone know how long it takes the Imax B6 charger to charge a battery on average? 1800mah battery.

Depends on the mAmps the charger is putting out. 1800mah batter can be charged at 1.8 amps. If you only feed it 900mah, then it takes twice as long. Its not bad for it (to feed it less) it just takes longer.

I've chrarged xtreme lipo's 1700mah at 1.5a and took 19 minutes to peak. I always discharge my batt's to 9.3v.

Tomorrow I should receive the Belt CP RTF from Xheli, it's more heli than I need @ the time but didn't want to miss out on getting one soon. Two days after I ordered it they sold out and others are selling out fast. I've been watching this heli for a month and it seems to be a good deal. I've only been flying for 6 months now, W/ a Blade CX2 and then a old Hummingbird, plus a Simms.

I'll post later just what I get later, have a friend that's been flying for years he's checking it out 11/21 (If it's not raining).

Love this forum.

It's normal. Wait until the light goes out entirely before disconnecting. It could be a couple minutes or more.

Other than the stock main blades, what replacement main blades will fit the belt CP? Brand and size?

What all canopies will fit the Belt CP? I'm thinking about buying a few and getting them airbrushed. I know you can get the direct replacement canopy for around $7.00, but I was just wondering what other different looks I could get without buying one of those complete cover all canopies.
