Try reversing the rudder in the TX, not the gyro.

Hey Phil, Bill, disney1 - anyone!!
Hi there,
I have just bought a DX6i for my Esky Belt CP (mode 1-throttle right side) and it will not operate properly. I have taken it to the place I bought it from and they can't work it out. Do you know settings list for mode 1? - the collective moves on the wrong stick, ie left, and the aileron is on the opposite stick. It doesn't matter if you reverse the servos or swash settings, if you get one right, the other setting is wrong and vice-versa. There must be a simple guide for the mode 1 users.
Please help.
Regards Smokey

Is Mode 1 what you wanted? Are you saying that the dealer you bought it from can't get it to work right? Won't they replace it?

Don't know anything about Mode 1. Perhaps you should contact Horizon/Spektrum directly.

I thought you are using the Logictech gyro. If you're saying that your Telebee HH didn't work right and now your Logictech doesn't work either, then it sounds like you've got something wrong. Does the Logictech work Ok in standard rate mode?

Bill

[EDIT] I thought you said in an earlier post that when you replaced the Telebee with the Logictech that the Logictech was working correctly?

Evening Smokey:
Check the manual page 99 power settings, set to A-EU 328. This should fix your Mode 1 problem

hi guys. Romi here from singapore. just got my first heli which is a belt cp. mostly stock except for the gyro which i'm using the colco gy400, upgrade to aluminium head and using align gear. i've only like flown it twice now with basic hovering. still trying to getting used to the controls and such. its really hard even though i have like 4 yrs on plane experience on me. just a question before i get carried away here. i heard like theres a direct servo mod to the belt cp. anyone here can enlighten me on this? any difference and the pros and cons? thanx guys for any help. really appreciate it. i've tried looking up the vids on youtube but it isnt too clear. sorry for bad picture quality

I thought that was just a power output difference setting. Are you saying that has something to do with changing the TX from Mode 2 to Mode 1?

Morning Bill:
That was my understanding of the power select, I may be wrong, as I have never played with the setting.

Ron, I believe that Europe has a lower max. power output restriction compared to the US. I think that setting just changes the power output slightly but I may be wrong also. I was just confused by your saying that changing that setting should fix his Mode 1 problem.

Bill You are probably correct. I gyess that he could actually remove the stick assemblies and swap them left for right. Would this correct the Mode 1/2 situation??
