Hello everyone This is nuts, trying to find a battery charger. It needs to charge ni-cad, ni-MH, lipoly. The lipoly needs be a balance charger, and able to do two packs at once, and finally be between 100 to 150 bucks. Any ideas anyone! (Got a belt cp on its way.)
Thanks, Kevin

Hi everyone,
I'm Mike and I'm new to the group.
Currently flying a E-sky HBK2 with brushless motor and stock helicopter, I'm trying to figure out if
I should upgrade to a E-sky Belt CP.......

Hi, Mike. Lots of us have both. The Belt CP is a great heli, especially for the price. Plenty of power, even stock. It's hard to go wrong with that choice.

TEST FLOWN FROM THE FACTORY? YEH RIGHT. Better check it over. I just took this out for a little maiden spin here. It spun alright. Around and around and around. Tail rotor servo was not centered and off to one side. Simple fix but watch it.

Well I got it up and hover briefly, Its windy out their so trimming was a bit useless but even during the brief time it was up , I did see a significant difference in stability over the AXE. So I'm a happy camper.

Quoting myself? Anyways, Weather is good today and took it out for a little spin. Nothing to blame it on but myself , weather or the heli. So I'l go with the heli. Tailrotor linkage needs to be totally re-done. Can't adjust the pc links at all so I am going to go find some longer nes to cut done to size and get it all centered i guess. I was at full right trim to get it straight. No big deal but just wanted to let people know. That these things are more like ready to run, not ready to fly but everything is still okay. I can see the potential through all this crap.

There aren't that many chargers out there for less than $150 that can do all that. have you looked at the polycharge 4?

I think i have changed my mind about an all in one charger. I have been reading about the possibility of exploding lipo batteries, buy leaving the charger set up for niMH. I think mabe to get more batteries charged, I think I will buy a couple of the cheap ones that come with the Belt CP. Thank you for replying to my post Druss.

Thats good. With all the spare parts your ordering, sounds like your planning to beat the crap out of it!

I am going to put some sticks under it long enough to keep it from turning over. As I get better, I will keep shortening them till they are gone. I don't know if that will work, but seems logical. Also thinking about using long wires to power it while i am learning.

I need some new main rotor blades and I was wondering if I should stick with wooden ones or get the carbon fiber blades? I don't plan on hitting anything else with the blades, but since I'm new to flying I probably will. I don't want to spend the extra money for carbon fiber ones if they're likely to damage after a few minor contacts. I know the carbon ones are more durable, but I can get 3 sets of wooden ones for about the same price as 1 carbon set.

the wooden ones will break but that's not a bad thing when you're first learning, it will help to prevent damage to the rest of the heli. if you have a blade strike with carbon fiber blades, besides the damage they will cause to objects and people, they will transmit the force to the rest of the head possibly causing more damage.
