And we will. Isn't there a bigger version or the rb 523? Its like a 928 or something right? Can somebody tell me what the advantages of the 928 over the 523? If I ever do decide on a new motor I will probably go big, and hearing all the good things about rb I might as well get the biggest engine they offer

the 928 is really a truggy race engine, they're not toys, if your putting one of them in yoru revo i'd be making the same precartions as if your were dropping in a nova 528 or STSD30M, they are very powerful.

Yea for that price I would rather go with a nova.... I think I'll just keep the 523 in mind instead of the 928. How many ports does the 528 have, and the 928?

RB engines are made by nova, the 528 is an 8 port, the 928 a 7, but remember the number of ports doesn't be any means dictate performance, the RB will give a smoother powerband then the nova.

EDIT:I misunderstood him apparently...just got an email back and turns out i thought he was going to send me a new engine, but he really ordered the parts to fix it and sent it out last wednesday...which meanssssssssss

Congrates on your motor comin in soon jarret. I bet its gonna be christmas early for you when that thing comes in the mail I know I went crazy when I had all the parts together for my 18tz. To be honest tho I should have sealed it when I had the chance. But I was to busy wanting to run my truck for the first time in 3 months... So just to save yourself some headaces in the long run, just seal it up.

hey guys, i have a rb523 in my revo its had nearly 3 litres through it now, with a full tank its kinda sluggish (but its still fast) compared to when its on half.. on half a tank she just lifts and flips straight over on its cage.. even in reverse.. its awesome.. i cant believe these little things put out this much power, so so so much better than the trx 3.3(thats still a good motor) but its well worth the upgrade $$$ IMO..

have any of you fellas had this prob? any ideas why it would be different? here is a pic of my fuel line set up any help would be great!!

the problem is the revos stock fuel tank, with the stock engines it's not as aparent, but with the RB, being a bit more finkity to tune, you can tell, it's called half tank lean, the best soluton for it is to buy the tekno RC fuel tank and receiver mount and a mugen MXB5T truggy fuel tank, but the problem with that is, you can only run one steering servo, so it isn't a cheap mod, after running an 8ight T for a few weeks now without the lean tank issues however, i think it's a worthwhile mod, and gives you a good reason to upgrade your steering servo while your at it.

and trust me, do yourself a favor and buy a two stage foam air filter (i used the HPI big block filter), the stock one is not well suited to any engine in my opinion, after 30 mins of run time it sucks the life outa the engine by reducing the airflow coz it gets clogged up with dirt, and a good glow igniter make it so much easier to start any engine then that horrid blue wire.

I might have this as my next engine for racing since the OS 18tm is discontinued at tower and im looking for something with the power of the picco .26 maxx and this seems to be just as good but without the wheelie frenzy lol. Think this would be a good engine for racing Ive heard it can be a bit out of whack at times *rarely though*?? Here is where I race athttp://www.planetrcraceway.com/photos.asp . I seal my engines up just for precation break em in heat cycle etc. Anything special i should to to make this thing the biggest abddest beat I can?? I was thinking of sidepipe for this engine
