Jarret...leave the glow plug battery on longer, until the engine gets warmed up ...it won't hurt anything.
You'll just need to charge it more often...(you have a good, Ni-Cd rechargable glow ignitor, right? )

Has anyone ever ran a 928 in a maxx, the entire truck has RR gears from front to back so gear failure is not an issue.

is there anywhere i can find a break in proccess for the 523? i just got it and i want to do it right...not too confident with the traxxas proccess for the RB 523...its like comparing a Hyundia to an Audi.

i found that kind of odd myself, there is no way the RB is ready after 5 tanks,i will see if i can find the guide for the heat cycle method and post it in here

so what would "Race Tuning" consist of? im a basher...but im guessing race tuning would give me the best performance and longevity of the engine. I have only ever had to break in 2 engines...the 2.5r and the 3.3. i just want to do it right.

I raced a 2.5r Revo with my TM323... blew it's doors off... (that is... when I didn't gas it so much my Revo flipped)

just make sure u use about 12 tanks on the break in...and keep it rich. you want the temps at 210+ to get the proper pinch so if its rich, cover the cooling head in aluminum foil to get the temps up without leaning it.
