No, it makes the yellow brighter at the seam/overlap.
I had to do Yellow over white on the fuse, but on the wing I wanted to lay the yellow down first and go over top of it with the blue and the white.
I will have pin stripes over the joint so I was not worried about air getting under it. The pin stripe would not be wide enough to hide the color variation if I had done the yellow over the white.

I haven't done much. Busy at work and dealing with that other issue.
Kurt came over Saturday and help sand the rest of the wings to 200. I finished them up with 400 yesterday. I just need to get back at covering but you have to be in the right frame of mind to do it or it turns out bad.

Looking good, Looking good. I hear you about the other thing. Hang in there and you and your family will be in our prayers.
Are you going to be at the field on Sunday? Hopefully I will have my T-Rex 500 by then. Rob is building the body and I will installed the radio and electronics. Rob said it sould be done this weekend. If it is complete on Saturday, I will try and finish it up on Saturday night.

No, The in laws are in town at my house for the weekend and I hurt my back the other day digging. I am done with shovels.... Never again, i'll hire it done! That twisting motion when I am half bent over rips my back every time!
I spent most of the day covering the stabs. Lets just say small areas of perfection surrounded by mistakes!
The monokote is very difficult to work with in smaller areas with different colors. You get one color down perfect, then while overlapping the second color the iron creates bubbles in the first layer. Once the monokote bubbles it leaves lines around the perimeter of the bubble even if you do get the covering to set back down. Very frustrating but it is the best I can do.
The only thing left is the rudder and ailerons, then I will start on Kurts wings. We had to order a second 25' roll of white.

You coming out tomorrow? I have finished installing the electrics in the T-Rex. Plan on bring it tomorrow. The throws are that right now are a beast. +12 to -10/-11. I will have to tone that down a bit.
That plan is looking good. So how long are the in-laws over?
