Gonna use Dubro 1/2A horns when I add the upper ailerons. 2-56 rod for all control rods cept the throttle which will be a cable.

Thinking the 2-56 should do fine on this small of a plane for the tail feathers. I ran 2-56 control rods about 6" long on a stryker that had larger control surfaces and it did fine when zipping along at ~75mph and pulling out of dives.

Put together the box for the back end of the tank area...

Cut the hole in the firewall for the tank to sit in with some room for a thin foam layer...

Firewall in place...

Thought I got a pic of the box in place but I didn't.

Sanding the struts was difficult since you had to apply pressure in a tight area to get rounded edges. I made a few strips of 600 grit sand paper and put one end in the vice and then held the other end.

Worked great to sand at different angles and wrap around evenly to get a rounded edge.

Gonna hit these with sanding sealer and sand again before I mount them. Also need to figure out a color scheme since I need to paint these.

YOUR PICTURES ARE NOT SHOWING.

Sorry to shout but it is rather frustrating.

I'll agree, your pictures are NOT showing. I'd like to see the progress, but words along aren't gonna help much.

No need to shout - I'm not deaf.

I can pull these pics up on a few different connections.

It would probably be a better idea to just upload them to the site, Somegeek. It appears that you're hosting them off-site. Sometimes that works, but other times they might not show, as in this case. Have you checked to see that you have the right URL in your /img brackets?

I've used my comcast space for all of my posts to post the pics inline with no issues since I started this account. Comcast did an upgrade to their servers this last week to increase user hosting space from 25MB per user to 1GB per user. I've moved my pics to another 1gig space I have with them and this seems to load better. I post them inline as I prefer this method of documenting.

This load any better for you now?

Initially the images were not working for me also....

and this is what I did... right click on the little red crosses and select properties, then copy and paste the image address into the address bar of a new tab/page and then click go.... after I did this to a couple of the images, the next time I opened this thread all of the images loaded?????

That's a real pain though. I am guessing that Comcast is working some bugs out of this new hosting space. It was rock solid before a week ago.

Edit - after a quick search, I am not the only user hitting this issue. Other Comcast users are having issues with their hosting. Once they get this resolved this thread will look better. Not like I am getting paid to post this anyways.

No photos seen on my end yet, just those little boxes with the X in them. Keep trying, good luck.

It works!
I did what Luna Rendezvous suggested with the "properties" on one of the red "x"s.
After I did the first one all the pictures appeared!
Well worth the effort!
The pictures are very nicely done.
Very professional.
Thanks!
JLK

Hey guys, just an FYI, I've had really good results using FireFox for displaying this thread.
