Status: offline 		I was wondering if anyone has used a Seilo servo on the rudder? over 1500 oz of torque on twelve volts sure is a lot. Plus, you only have one servo to hook up instead of ganging three or four together.

Status: offline 		Joe ,Happy New Year!I'm Just about ready.The wings would'nt fit on the tube and then they wouldnt fit in the wing openings,so i fixed all that crap and went to tighten the covering on wings and the covering seperated.There were razor blade cuts in covering where they join so they seperated!I am not very happy with the quality of this bird.It better fly very,very good after this!Fixing the wings is gonna be a ****!

That is a bummer to hear about the covering, and wing tube fit. Not what you wanted, I am sure ? By the sounds of Reza's early flight reports and video, we should not be disappointed. Think positive.

As for the video, Reza posted it on the another web site. Surprised that he did not post it here also.

Due to the very low quality of the video I didn't post. Uplines in the video are almost out of sight. In some of the upline I have 3 snaps but non of this is shown either my friend lost the plane or camera lost focus. Anyway, I was not sure this video would motivate anyone in any ways since I was mainly trying to show the precision and power aspect of the plane but here's the link for those might still be interested watching it http://www.rcmodelaviator.com/Videos/Yak120.wmv

My coupler pulled out and cracked we could not fix it at the field and also our field has been shut down ever since that day till Jan 28th due to some real heli action. They are seeding the area.

off2fly, sorry to hear about your problems. You are the first I have heard having wing fitting problem. Would you tell me what was wrong and how you fixed it.

Status: offline 		Reza,thanks for posting the video ,still good to watch even w/quality not being the best.Yea ive been a little disappointed with quality on this model.The covering on the wings had razor cuts(i guess) where two colors meet and seperated,so i have to try and fix that some how.The wing tube would'nt go into either wing,after sanding still very,very tight.Then the wings wouldn't fit the openings,I had to remove the balsa at the leading edge of both wing openings on fuslage and replace,where they squared the front of the wing openings i feel is a little corner cut.I don't know if the wings were not shaped correctly or the fuse not cut out correctly.Thanks ,Vann Jeter

It seems to me that sleeve in the wings might had some excess glue and that's why the tube didn't fit! It's happened to me on one of my planes. I cleaned the sleeve and all was fine. Sorry to hear that anyway. Once you take it up in the air, you will fall in love with this plane.
