This site seems to have several TRUE hobbiests, so maybe one of you could help me. Seems there are sites out there intent on only selling things and poking fun at what they do not understand.

Please help.

--------------------------

I tore my transmitter down today. It is a Jaguar TZP for controlling my RC10GT. The spring that brings the steering back to center had failed.

Upon opening the case a small 1/2"x1/2" piece of a circuit board fell out. I have no clue where it belongs and when I put the xmitter back together w/out it and turn it on I get a rapid beeping noise and it doesn't transmit.

I'm guessing this is an integral part of the circuit but it fits NOWHERE!!

It looks as if at one time it was soldered to two small posts protruding from where the antena screws in, but still I don't know.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

NS

That little piece of circuit board isn't connected to anything. It fits in a little slot down at the bottom of the pistol grip. I have no clue why it's there.

The beeping noise is caused by a known issue with the Jaguar radio. To fix it:

Open the case and look at the gold post on which your trigger sits. The slot on this post must be horizontal (parallel to the ground if the radio is held upright). Replace your trigger and re-attach the case halves.
