I think winters in Canada are 11 months long. So maybe he will get it done.

Me too David...

The workshop cleanup continues to prep for the relaunch of this project in the next short while.

I'm going to post a poll to see whether or not we continue from here or start afresh... Those of you who still follow this thread (must be one or two) what say you...?

Post your opinion below please and thanks.

Good to see you still around Leroy... It's been years since I started this so no, not a five year project from here. I'm keen to get it done and done to satisfactory level.

Cheers

Goose

Goose good to see you back, as far as starting anew, I say no. Reason, well there are several. It took 6 years for me to get mine done but it don't take 6 yr's to build one. There are so many things in life that can stop, delay and derail a project like this. For many the economic melt down has had a big effect for many of us. Just doing life and the many other commitments are other reasons. So many threads have just died for numerious reasons but with winter coming I think things will pick up. Once you start posting again you will see guys coming back and I will still be out here waiting like so many others.

Personally, I'm looking foward to it as well as other threads that will spring to life, I hope. Leroy

Hey Leroy...

Thanks for your comments.

I agree with all of them, the economic downturn continues to be tough on us all however I can't complain... I still manage fly and build so I'm way better off than many.

There are 9 pages and over 200 posts to this thread. Even though I have not been working on this build, I have been figuring things out and I have changed my mind on many of the original goals and this is why I think a new thread is in order.

I will close this one pointing to the new one and we will go from there. There is too much clutter that will confuse any newcomers and any of you who have followed thus far (thank you so very much) can come on over to the new thread as old hands and continue giving me the encouragement and ideas to carry on.

So ends this chapter. Thank you one and all for your support.

Please follow me to the new thread where we will finish this huge project. I hope that it will finish up with the same high standard that many P-51 builders achieve.

Cheers

Goose

That dont make no sence to start a whole new thread of the same thing that was started here. The few modelers that added their build in here should have been the inspiration for you to continue your build in this thread. I'm just saying....

Hi Robert...

Thanks for your comments...

The project has changed significantly since it was started here so long ago and while I certainly appreciate all of those who follow, contribute and showcase their projects in this thread, it's still a thread about my build.

Fortunately all of those who assisted along the way are happy to remove the clutter and join me in the new thread and I'm hoping that you will do the same.

The original thread will remain for those find it useful.

Cheers

Goose
