I know some stadium trucks are 4wd and others 2wd. For racing, does it matter?

What about motor size? Is there limitations? Anything else?

If you go roar legal it has to have a .12 size motor, 2.2 wheels, single speed tranny, a pipe with a stinger thats a certain size, 2wd(I think) and the body has to resemble a certain style. Like you cant use a mt body in the st class races. Most stadium trucks are 2wd. If its 4wd you may get stuck in the truggy class. I race My Jato but its in stadium open class only because I dont want to put a .12 size motor in it.

I am looking into possibly getting a stadium truck. there is a new track built close by, but it is just at a local park, not going to be set up for competitive racing. I know some guys are getting together to drive on the weekends and I am just looking for something to keep up with them. My savage runs the track good but i want something that can handle the corners good and not flip all the time. So that is why i'm looking into getting a stadium truck. I just don't know if i want to go with 2wd or 4wd.

4wd handles way better than 2wd, but check your track rules as all usualy arent the same

there are no track rules as it is a "park track." But yeah, i would like 4wd as it would be better for bashing also.
