Status: offline 		Ok, so about 3 or 4 years ago I bought an RS4 RTR (That's all that the instructions say about it, it came with the 15FE motor if that helps) and just recently pulled it out of a box. After examining it it looks like it needs new belts and such, so I was wondering if it would be possible to take this thing (seems like a dinosaur now) and update it to an RS4 3, because I definitely like the idea of an actual drive shaft, as opposed to a drive belt for the 4wd. Now I have very little experience with RC, this was only my 2nd car, and my only nitro, but I do have a bit of experience with real engines and cars.

Also I wanter to know what parts should I replace, and what maintenance should I perform before running the motor once agian, like I said it's been sitting in a box for quite a few years, and HPI's site just says to use new clean fuel, but I'm sure by now the piston and sleeve need some kind of lubrication. Once I clean my computer room up and have my work bench clear I'll strip her apart, but I'd like to know what I need prior to all that. Thanks for all your help.

Status: offline 		well the chassis isnt the same as an rs4 3's and a majority of the parts are different, i would get an rs4 3 roller from like ebay if you wanted the shaft drive, other than that, purchasing all of the separate parts would probably turn out more expensive than just buying a roller or a new rs4
