Yeah the PBS is a good budget buy. Tough as nails and cheap to fix. If it still comes with the hyper 8 port then you get a decent engine too. Unfortunatley for you it comes with a radio and you would need to swap this out.
The hyper 8.5 comes 90% pre-built but with no engine or radio.
The 8.5 is a better racer but the PBS sounds ideal for what you want

Also depending on which market you get the PBS in you may get the Starter box included. The radio that comes with it only really needs the Steering servo replaced but even then that would only bring it up to the price of an 8.5 RTR.

The Turmoil is a solid contender. I believe the Hyper is a bit better for bashing...and probably easier to get parts for.

You wont find a more bullet-proof buggy than the PBS, and if you get it with the radio, then there's always $50 back when it goes on ebay.

Yes, in my garage.

Info on the PBS

Shop 1

The only other way is to buy the TQ RTR and conversion kit from Nitrohouse.

Yes it comes with a pipe. It is a med torque pipe that works well with the 7 port rb engines.
