ORIGINAL: highhorse It's not hard to calculate...but I don't know specifics of the planform. Tell me more so I can help. Are the wings swept? Do they have the same planform? Are the chords for both wings constant? Span doesn't usually matter, but I defnlty need the exact measurments for the chord. U can respond here, PM me, or call 901-527-7272, we can knock this out pretty easily. Don. It's quite kind of you to offer personal guidance, but forums are really about openly sharing info in public so everyone benefits. When the subject line sets up the topic, and the posts in the thread develop it to a good answer, or better yet a number of good answers, everyone learns and benefits. If the topic catches your interest and you open the thread to read, looking forward to good info, and the thread stops cold because it went offline, that sucks. And how many forums would stay in business if all the threads ended with a phone number advertisement. It's an involved and potentialy complex topic and IN THIS CASE would be more quickly and accurately, and conveniently conveyed on phone, had the poster so opted. I post and share regulary in several threads. How I or anyone else interacts in response to any topic posted by someone other than yourself, however, is not your concern and not grounds for your admonishment in any way, shape, or form. Lighten up. As a moderator, every one of us is greatly concerned about a great number of things. We've been given a list of them, as a matter of fact, in case we hadn't thought of all the things that RCU wishes for us to police. As for my post being an "admonishment", it was my opinion and you've missed my motives for it. You may have missed that your post is completely intact. Moderators often delete and edit posts. You have already experienced both, so you know. And how the poster is interacting, and how pertinent the content of the post is to the topic, are two concerns, btw. And as unfair as it might appear to anyone else, we have the bully pulpit. It certainly is true that the topic of biplane CGs can be difficult, but even difficult topics deserve further discussion. Speaking of further discussion. Any in this thread that is not about the CG for biplanes or somewhat associated with it will be deleted. Off topic........
