ive been reading alot and i am very interested in getting into the hobby of drag racing. right now i run a Fully Hopped up TC4 1/10th for just speed 6turn double motor and so on.

i know it will cost to much to make my touring car drag ready so i would just like to purchase a drag kit or something RTR. i dont know much about this so can you direct me to a good site.

im not looking for amatuer chassis that i have to always upgrade i want top of the line.

The cheapest way to start off, would be using a mamba 5700 system and a RJ speed dragster. The RJ vehicles will be available at towerhobbies and are basically rebadged bolinks.
For crazy speeds go to lipo batteries.

Convert your touring car into 2wd and use wider rear tires if you can. Your brushed motor is fine to start off with. You can dragrace with anything if you set it up right. But if you plan to compete for points, go for a purpose build dragster. Just remember, in electric brushless rules the topspeeds.

yea, you will have to wait for the new stuff, unless you order the more expensive stuff from the links above. Ebay has used ones once in a blue moon. Check on the dragracing forums and see if anyone sells any. They do sell quick.

for a very fast set up you will spend alot for but the actual car aint that much, my buddies bought 100$ brushed motors, 150$ batteries. there isnt many parts to the cars but they are light and fast

true look at the nitro drag cars to be competitive you need to buy a 300-600$ motor

For me was the switch to lithiums that broke my bank. New charger, 4 batteries, and converted PC power supply.
