The ROAR Executive Committee will be meeting at the end of the month, and Dawn Sanchez, ROAR VP, will be bringing the possibility of adding 1:5-scale on-road motorcycles to the books. I've sent her and Mike Queller, ROAR Pres., a copy of the draft rules listed below, which has been distributed to all Executive Committee members for review. Basically, I used the existing BRCA rules and did a couple of minor tweaks, like adding a weight minimum for the Superbike class (a necessity in any class of racing), and bumping up the allowed displacement for 4-stroke bikes to include the O.S. FS-30. Otherwise, they are pretty well much the same.

So now I'd like you guys who want to see bikes as a ROAR-recognized racing class to send a memo to ROAR stating your support to MSanchez@cox.net">DMSanchez@cox.net. If you are a current ROAR member, please include your ID number (which also includes your ROAR region). If you aren't a ROAR member, it might be nice to say that you would certainly join if a racing class for bikes became available locally.

Thanks for you help guys, and let's see this class get in the books!
