Could be thermal shut down. May be worth checking if your drivetrain is getting bound up by something.

Your clue is that you can switch plugs and it works. Your plugs are shot. Junk. Done. Finished. Change them for deans ultra and it will not happen again.

you think so

i have only had the car about 3-4 weeks and these are the new batts it comes with (hot bodies 3300mah 7.2v)

would running batts that are different mah damage it ?

i ran a 4500 with a 4200

no, but if you are still using the white clip-together plugs, they are the problem. Junk. Get hot, deform, bad contacting inside, and all the rest. I'm telling you it's the plugs from experience and countless others that have had the same issues.

Yes, it's normal to break them out of the box. They are just about the weakest part of the drivetrain. HPI released new black ones that are much stronger, they break far less often.

As for axles, either replace them with T-maxx shafts or get CVDs.

whould those on the nitros(savage) fit on the esavage?

I am pretty sure that is a definite no, the nitro savage is a 1/8th scale. the E-savage is a 1/10th scale.
