I must say that Wagner is awesome to deal with and does indeed listen to our feedback in regards to his products. For example: I was concerned with the fuel tank stopper location as it relates to clunk movement..the location has changed for my kit. I was also concerned with fuel capacity. My kit came with two saddle tanks in addition to the main tank. Now that was fast response!! Great Customer Service. Fei Bao and Wagner....I'll be back.

Well I have been working on the Panther and here is where I am at:

I started with the tail section. Here I am dry fitting the elevators to the stabs. This required some small wooden blocks to ensure the right spacing between the elevator and stab. The counter balance on the elevator required some minor trimming to provide the right gap and ensure smooth operation with no binding. After sanding I brushed on some yellow paint to finish up.

Status: offline 		Next I mounted the elevator servos using the provided mounts. There is a neat plywood structure in the stab that is ready to accept the servo mounts. Next I installed the fiberglass control horn and cover. I painted the control horn yellow.

Status: offline 		The stab and fin were designed to be a bolt on afair but the instructions have you glue it together as well. This is what I did for added security. My fuse saddle required some trimming for a tight fit of the fin and stab. The rudder servo was shoe horned in place. The size of the opening is actually smaller than the servo but I was able to get it in working the angles. The rudder linkage is shown as well. I am using Futaba 3050 digital servos (90 oz @ 6V) on the elevators, rudder and ailerons. Flap servos are Hitec 645MG.

Status: offline 		I forgot to mention that the hinges are glued in to just the control surfaces and not to the stab, fin or wings. They may feel tight but if you pull hard out they come. Do Not forget to glue them in!!

Status: offline 		I have completed one wing panel. The aileron servo mounts the same way as the elevator and rudder servos. The flap servo mounts directly to a rib inside the wing. I had to enlarge the opening in the wing root to get the servo in. There is no hatch needed for the flap servo so I cut a slot into the wing skin for the servo arm. I did some trimming to the TE of the wing skins to get smooth movement from the flap and aileron. The wing tank bolts in place. The tanks have two aluminum dowels glue in them that slide into the wing and are held in place with bolts. The aluminum is drilled and tapped for the bolts from the factory.

Now off to the other wing!!

Status: offline 		I completed the other wing panel and constructed a stand from PVC. This will be used to work on the Panther as well as transport it. I will work on the Titan / pipe installation next.

Status: offline 		I Just realized that my pipe does not have a bell mouth on it. FeiBao includes a bypass but I like the open configuration. I sent Tam an E-Mail to see if he can make a bell mouth for me. An unexpected delay for sure.
