Gary,
That is it. I think you can get them from Tam or Todd at Dreamworks has them. Mount it where the strut will actuate it and then the doors will close. If you hook it in the same lines as the retracts it is really easy to do, and pretty much foolproof since it will prevent the doors from hanging up the nose gear. I used to valves and a Minihobby cycler, but you can accomplish the same thing with the clippard valve and the fancy UP valve as well. Either way makes sure the big main doors are closed when the gear is deployed or a landing will more than likely take them out for you (don't ask me how I know this either... )

Look for information that Terry Holston posted here some time back, that is where I learned the trick, and it worked great. He is a very knowledgable guy (don't tell him I said that) and it worked like a charm.
Good luck Gary.

Gary for the mains you can use the UP-2. This one will open and close the doors when gears is activated and let the mains close when gear is down. And the trick with the trigger valve for the nose. Here is Terry's thread. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4686975/mpage_2/key_pst,panther/tm.htm

Still not done here but this is what I have so far. I still need to add the knobs and switches to the side console.
I know it is not scale but better than empty.

Looks good Dom. The pilots eyes make him look like he's on meth amphetamine or he just spotted a couple of Migs headed straight for him . Maybe a little black eyeliner will cut down on the shocked look. Just a thought.

Gary.
The UP-2 valve will do what you want. When the gear is down the main gear doors will be closed. Now to keep the nose gear doors open, you install a clippard valve in the system. This will keep the doors open until the nose gear contacts the valve letting air pass through to the nose gear cylinders to close the doors. The nose gear door on our A-4's works the same way. Here is a shor from my A-4.
