Mine is coming along nicely - made 3 new plywood boards - one in the nose for the batteries, one for the Weatronic and the air valves (JetTronic) and a new main board as the one that came with the plane was twisted and made from very poor plywood. All the boards are removable for service and I am hoping to avoid putting any lead in the nose. The small air bottles were painted silk matt black and placed over the large body flaps - because of the color, they will not be noticeable if I use the flaps. The large air bottle was placed up in the tail section. I still haven't decided if I'll use the body flaps and the dive brakes - it looks cool, but I really like to keep things simple.. I may have to paint the large air bottle with BVM heat shield, but from experience, the outer pipe wall on my GBooster 160-powered F-16 does not get hot. I'd recommend that you do not place the air bottles near the hot side of the jet...The last thing you want is a bottle charged to 100 psi get hot.
