Status: offline 		I've been thinking abouttrying a Vess but the A,B,C has me a little messed up. Before I order one I'll have to figure that out. Maybe the 22A? This Saturday I might be able to maiden my PA Edge 540T/DL-50 Combo . Can't Wait!!!!

Status: offline 		On that plane a 22B or a 23A would be a good choice, the nx 22X8 would also be a good prop. I have a PA edge with that same engine and it is way over powered. It is balistic.

Status: offline 		Mine weighs in at 14.3 lbs without fuel. The problem I've had here is always being under powered. A 40 size plane with the top recomended engine is just not enough. I have to use 60 size engines to get the power needed say a .91 4-stroke. I'm hoping that this will not be an issue with my edge. I'm tired of always being under powered.

The two wire cable that comes with the DL is a extra lead that can be installed on your battery pack or switch harness to match the Futaba battery lead on the RCXL ignition. You probably will not need if you use all Futaba wire harness parts.

Status: offline 		It will be interesting to see What DLusa will seel them for. Just checked their web site, no price yet. If their as good as the dl50's, still cheaper than the other guys and worth the price, maybee.

Status: offline 		I wrote Bob with this DL 100 question. He said "later in May", estimated price somewhere around $750. Includes two mufflers, RcExcell Dual-lead ignition. If it is as good as the 50, but double-good, then it will be well worth it, IMO.

Status: online 		In that pic, .. looks like they have decided to make just one muffler ... and use it on both sides instead of a left and a right muffler. Looks odd.

Status: offline 		Agree it might look odd, but saving the cost of a "left" v.s. "right" may be the reason; although I have to admit, I wouldn't mind paying $50 more to have it look "proper"...

On a DIFFERENT topic..... just curious.... do you all drill your props in an "X" pattern so you're up against compression at 2 o'clock, or a "+" pattern, where the blade is exactly vertical (or horizontal) ??

I know my preference, and rationale, but would like to hear others????

Status: offline 		personally I like the x. I tried the+ and didn't like it as much. It didn't feel to me like I was getting the full force of the flip at the +.

Status: offline 		I noticed that "+" pattern in the photo as well and had the same question. I use the "X" but don't know why. I do have a comfortable "flipping" position at about 2:00 posisiton. I wondered if there was any structural reason to drill props one way or the other. Any opinions?
