Hi all,
I have just finished my Vanquish tonight but a question sprung to mind.

Do I need an air exit somewhere at the rear end of the fuz??

There are plenty of openings for air to enter the cowling, but the battery is between the wings.

I am running the stock power package with 2200mAh 4s packs.

By the way, this things looks really good just sitting on the ground, I can't wait to fly it.

This is my second electric model, if you don't count indoor foamies (really fun though). The first is a Phase 3 EDF16, flies well.

Thanks for any help,

You'll really love the plane!!! I did the same thing until I went back and looked at many pictures. You need to open up the bay just behind the wing on the bottom of the plane. One on each side of the longeron for only one bay. It's about 2 inches wide by 4 inches long. If you look at the thread on another forum, there will be a picture of where to do it. I'll try to throw in a link to the pic.

Good luck with the flight. John

Thanks John,
That makes a lot more sense now, air in, air out.
I was wondering what the idea of the angled part inside the fuz was, Duh!
Why don't they show this in the manual, it is fairly important I suspect.

Cheers,

Peter.

May have been a revision in the manual. It was mentioned in mine but I ordered it last month.
