Stryker Video

I have been stopping and flying at this park every day for several weeks. Last week I bolted my Sony T7 Digital camera (4.5oz total) onto the back of my Parkzone F27B Stryker. It is basically stock except I added my own radio and servos to it. This was the first one I shot and since this one I have 7 more at about 4-5 minutes each and getting better scenery with each one. I will be adding more of them to RCUvideos also.

Comments welcome!

Allen

Nice flying and fun video. I am on my third replacement body, but the fun factor is worth it!!! It is a good break from the complicated (and expensive) glow and gas planes....

I started posting my videos to YouTube for ease of collection, subscribing, etc.
New videos location:
AeroRecon Stryker and Glider video location

Added a new one the other day. First online since upgrading to brushless and lipo. What a difference!

Hey, is that the Rappahannock River I see? Here's a video I took from the other end of the same river. Slightly smaller up your way.

I'm really impressed with the video quality. I am waiting for FlyCamOne ver2 only just to see what it will do. The images I have seen aren't that good but the weight is tremendously fabulous. The Sony though is miles ahead for video quality. I'm also looking into the Sony Net Cam that was on another post sinece it seems to be video focused and not a P/S like the Sony T7.

I have a FCOv2 on order also! Have you heard anything on delivery??
The new Sony webcam type thing does look slick and similar to the FCOv2. And has image stabilizer.

I need to balance things out differently to get the camera more forward and tilting down more for more ground view. I added a new one the other day that caught a big buzzard flying across in front of me. Looked pretty cool.

I am ready to buy a co-pilot CPD4 to add on for wing stabilization. Then a video downlink and I will be all set.

Cheers

Very good video! You mounted the camera in such a way as to give the viewer a reference point of the aircraft as well as making sure the angle (up/down) of the camcorder was correct. You also have the ground and sky in view for most if not all the video.
