David, The pleasure was completely mine! You guys have a beautiful corner of the RC World, with southern hospitality.

My head is still in the clouds up there in Cumming, GA. Man! All I can say is "HUCK-TACULAR EVENT! It is going to be tough to beat this experience. Best huckers from all over came to throw down! Weather was beautiful for the last 2-1/2 days, 70 deg and sunny, and a slight breeze down the runway. Everybody at Georgia Model Aviators Club were very hospitable and welcomed us with open arms. Chris Hinson totally ROCK'D the 3D world on this one. It was especially nice to see Chris H. and Russell huck the new prototype 123" EF Extra 300 w/ DA 150. I mean they where blowing off the dust and debris off the runway with just a few inches separating the tail from the ground! Oh Yeah! Extreme Flight was very well represented, with a whole pot-load of giant scale beauties and tons of talent. There was not one knuckle-head in the bunch.
Chris said he will do it again next year. You can bet that I WILL BE THERE!

Then my buddy Dmitriy who keeps getting told that he may not get too many more warnings at the local club (for hovering over the runway) fits right in. Notice the inverted deadstick. Dang thing kept deadsticking on us and we looked at it and.... whatever. End result was a new Extreme Flight alumimum landing gear and right wing servo and back out he goes.

Donnie, I am so with you on the Florida Gig. All may not agree but the tunes and DJ really do up the coolness factor.

A trophy was presented to Chris Hinson. It was about his contributions to the hobby if I am not mistaken. It was a good show.

We came with 4 Giants and went home with the same 4.

Cheers to the lucky lot of you!!

I got more. It was a shutter-bug's dream--even with an overcast sky on day one.

I am telling to all that will listen, what you saw in the video was nonstop for about 12 hours a day. How unbelievably fun and exciting when the sky became saturated with the 6 plane limit.....ALL GIANTS AND ALL HUCKIN'.

Too Cool

This was prolly flight number 12 or so on the 123 inch Extreme Flight 40% Extra 300. When I asked Mr. Hinson about it he said that he would likely fly it for a few months, attend events, put some time on the airframe and then go into production. With DA-150 and Cannister Mufflers my second hand info says it weighs 42 pounds dry.

Coolness

Richard,
That was Adam Ranck that flew my 50% 260 on Sat evening. He was the same guy that flew the Radio Wave earlier. That was his second time flying the plane. Maybe next year I will be able to Huck it half as well as him. We had a great time and met alot of super nice people. This event was a do not miss for Huckers. Can't wait till next year I plan on having another 50% something. I am looking for video of that flight. I had a guy video it for me but I did not catch his name. He had a awsome camera and I didn't ask what kind it was. I am having a hard time posting the video so I hope someone else will. Thanks for the comments, I am glad I got to fly it there.
Mike

Mike, Donnie and I held your wings for the Saturday morning runup before you flew it. All I can say is that you were up solo and that 3W had the prop rip echoing off of the hill behind us and the trees across. What a sound. Good flying too guy.
When you get the video figured out can you post it here?

Richard
