This is a cut and paste from page 8 of the thread at F*L*Y*I*N*G......(you get the pict)

The poster is the hoster of the party....none other than the Extreme man himself.

I look forward to meeting all you guys there that make it.

BTW we are only 8 or so hours drive but really look forward to it.

HUCKTOBERFEST 2007
On October 26-28 2007, Extreme Flight R/C in cooperation with the **** website will host The Hotlanta Hucktoberfest 3D Fly-in. The event will take place at the Georgia Model Aviator’s field in Ballground, GA approximately 35 miles north of downtown Atlanta. This event will consist of 3 days devoted to 3D flying, fellowship and camaraderie. Top 3D pilots from all over the U.S. have committed to attending and we hope you will consider joining us for what promises to be a world class event.
The GMA field will close to general flying on Friday October 26th at noon and the event will last until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Come on out and see the latest in high performance aerobatic aircraft technology, check out the set-ups on these aircraft, talk with some of the top pilots in the nation, and fly, fly, fly!!!
Pilot registration will begin at noon on Friday. Registration fee is $25.00 which will include a BBQ dinner on Saturday evening. Proof of AMA membership required. Thousands of dollars in merchandise will be raffled off over the course of the event.

The GMA field is located at 8250 Old Federal Rd in Ballground, GA 30107. If driving into the Atlanta area from US HWY 85 or 75, take the 285 bypass and exit on GA 400 north toward Cumming, GA. Take a left on 369 (the first traffic light you will encounter on GA 400) and travel approximately 8.5 miles. Make a right onto Old Federal Rd and you will see the flying field on your right in approximately ¾ of a mile.

Below is a list of area hotels. These hotels are approximately 12 miles form the GMA field. Camping is allowed on-site, but no hook-ups are available.

..........." the best way to describe 3D Flying is, throwing your airplane as hard as you can at the ground........and missing IT!" I think there are limits to be pushed, mind blowing antics to be had, and lots of new flyin buds to be made!

Who is going..................I mean, who is going to Hotlanta to let it ALL HANG OUT!!!!

I will be bringing two planes with me but I have a feeling that there may be some parts for sale when I get done. Two planes will make the trip down and there is a good chance that neither will be going home.

Its time to push the envelope, I have been working real hard on my flying just for this event.

One Huckfest, One plane.

When a riot broke out in Texas and the authorities asked for help, the Texas Rangers sent one Ranger. He found the leader of the riot, pistol whipped him one time and dragged him off. The riot broke up. When asked why the Rangers only sent one Ranger, the reply was, "One riot, One Ranger."

That, and I only have one plane I want to fly. Plus, I'll be packing (cash.)

I am only bringing two becasue my buddy that I am coming down with is bringing two also and that trailer will be packed.

Planes: Jtec Radiowave Panzl 330 35% and my old faithful Extreme Flight 87" Yak
My buddies planes: Dietrich Extra 260 42% and Dalton Aviation Extra 260 35%

I am just hoping that we will be able to get the trailer doors to close....
If you guys see a trailer with the doors open coming down I-75 with a red flag tied to the tail of a 42% plane, that just means we are going hucking.

UPDATE TO POST..........................SOMEONE SAID THEY ARE PACKING CASH.................................................

I WILL BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR YOU.

Actually I am only bringing two, and my buddy is bring his EF Yak. But mostly I needed to have plenty of room in my truck and trailer for the trip back, hopefully to bring more EF planes when I hook-up with Chris!
