Finally, I have the time to post the results of the previously noted set up change(s). I experienced positive improvements with the 10/20/5 set up. So much so, that I don't see a reason to change it up anymore when running on small to medium tracks locally. The truggy performs and handles very well with that diff oil configuration. The only other modification I made was the 70 weight shock oil up front. That did not work at all The truck would not jump or land properly nor would it handle the ruts or bumps. The 70 with oil up front proved both entertaining and hilarious I switched back to 60 weight up front and I plan to try 55 [if it exists] or 50. I would also like to take this opportunity to rescind my earlier suggestions and posting to cen manufacturing regarding the steering of the cen matrix truggy, as I have since discovered that the turning issues were due to improper front linkage set up, as well as improper transmitter set up. My linkage's [ steering, ackerman and upper arms ] and radio [ steering trim ] required tuning adjustments, as they were a bit out of synch. In short, I've come to appreciate the fine art of tuning caster, camber, toe in, shock positions, shock dampening, ride height, droop and most of all " STEERING TRIM " I mean, the steering trim alone solved most if not all of my " this truggy turns way too wide " issues I felt like a totally noob when I figured the steering sub-trim function out on my radio. The right and left steering end-points were maxed out at 125 each, however the steering dual rate trim which controls the " maximum servo travel " was only set at 70% So in my case, that was 70% of 125% left and right steering. Until I read and understood page 25 of my Spektrum Dx2.0 radio manual, I had no idea that I could inrease or decrease the radius of the steering servo. So for the past year now, I've only used the " Steering Trim " . I had totally overlooked the " Steering Dual Rate Trim Adjustment " All things considered and understood, I immediately decreased my left and right steering endpoints to 100% each [ left and right ] and increased the percentage of the dual rate from 70% to 90% The wheels are almost at full lock at that setting and I can continue to tweak it at the track if at all necessary. So now that I understand " dual rate trim ", I imagine that my Cen Matrix Truggy now turns as sharp as, if not sharper, than any other truggy on the market All things considered, perhaps an apology is in order to cen and to this forum, as it appears that my " steering " and " turn in " issues were an oversight on my part. Please excuse me I don't know, I guess I just wanted to run my truggy for the past year. However, I now understand and respect that you can't run properly, unless you've tuned properly. So to start, I've read and bookmarked online set up articles for the past couple of weeks and I ordered a truck camber tool today
