I have a "Charley". It flys good but you need to make a more posative method of releasing the chute. I fitted servo controlled pin to release the chute. Also i used metel geared servos on the arms. I broke a few normal servos.
Lots of fun.
I also made a "release platform" to hold charley while on the drop plane. The servo is controlled from a channel in charley and the lead comes apart when he drops. this way you cannot release him if you don't have control of the charley receiver.
I also made a "soft" chute pack, more like a full size chute pack.
