Hi Mike,

Do you (or anyone else) have a link to the manual for the Su26? I couldn't find it at Horrizon's site.

Thanks.

Thank You very much for the manual....

I just need some 1 1/2" servo arms and maybe some 3/16" axles.

Everything else is just waiting in a box.

Under the "Contents of the Kit" it lists a 4 1/4" spinner. If that's true, this plane is a super value...but I'm guessing probably not....

Can't wait....rumors are that they are at the distribution centers right about now. So it depends on where you hear the rumors from.

The spinner is not included. The rumor is also not true.

Great job Mike M. !

Mike:

Are you running the Lipos with a regulator to 6v or do you run them straight in a full voltage?

Thanks,
Lee

And what is your preference? Is there any problem running these servos on 2 cell lipos without a regulator?

Thanks,
Lee

Mike,

Do You think the H9 SU-26MM with a Moki 150cc radial engine would be a flyable combination?
(Ref. to my previous post #50)

Thanks,
Lars

Mike,

The Moki 150 weighs around 9,15 Lbs (4300g) so it is much heavier than the DA-85. I believe it would be possible to balance the plane by placing batteries etc. as far back in the model as possible. My main concern is if the increased wing loading is a problem or not. Since the SU-26MM is your design perhaps you can tell if the planes structure is strong enough to handle the increased weight?

I have seen the previous version of the H9 Sukhoi with a Moki radial engine on it somewhere on the internet, unfortunatly there were no info about the flight carachteristics or the models performance. This plane/engine-combination is not the most common one and there is not much information to find.

Thanks,
Lars
