Hey guys,

I know this plane has been around for a few years but I havent heard TOO much about it. I am acquiring a new unfinished one in a trade this weekend and was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with one at all. I'd like to hear any good, bad or indifferent reports. ANY advice on setup would be great etc. Seems like it should be a great bird to me... bigger than most 35%ers and pretty good scale lines.

I'm 99% sure it's gonna be a DA100 on the front but if anybody has any other suggestions I'm all ears. Anybody have any guess if full pipes coudl go in this bird? I ask because I have a nice set and with it being slightly bigger/ heavier than some others it coudl be good for a lil power.

Thanks in advance for ANY input!!!

Scott

I flew one this season in the NOrth Central region in Advanced. Other than not having any glue in the junction between the hardwood landign gear block and fuselage sides (guess how I found out...), it is a great, fairly light (27 pounds) well built, straight aircraft - good enough for Advanced with proper set up. The only thing I did was peel back the covering (it's not ironed down very well when you get the plane, but covered VERY nicely) and extended/sharpened the leading edge to improve snap/spin entry and exit. If you're a competitor on a budget, it's a good deal. Very attractive. Better covering job than I would do, even if I had the time.
