Hey,

Here's the latest:

If you're going to Toledo Show, you'll see one there. The dimensions are 84" long, and 57" span. The fuselage is highly detailed, including the scale exhausts, and is the new pre-primed, carbon-reinforced epoxy. The flight surfaces are carbon-reinforced, balsa-sheeted foam with leading edges pre-installed and ready for final sanding. The wings are routed for ailerons and flaps. The builder has the option of foregoing those by simply glueing an piece of balsa in the slot and sanding/glassing over it. The wingspars are very beefy aluminum, the [unbalanced :-)] stabilator shafts are ball-bearing supported titanium, the vertical fin spars are carbon rod. All tail linkages are internal (even in the plug-in fins), but the wing linkages, should you decide to use them, are external (I'm just gonna hide mine with a pylong). There are VERY nice scale gear available, but they are not rotating gear, as this plane is intended for single-engine ops. The gear doors come as one piece, but they have scribe lines in the scale locations for those of us who'll want to cut them into the scale doors (3 ea.). They'll be ready to ship sometime in May. Let me know if you want to get on the list. Hope this helps, I've been getting a lot of PMs and emails about this kit, so here it is!

Hi,

They'll be available sometime in May. Right now, the projected price is somewhere in the $1000-$1100 range (BUT THAT'S NOT A PROMISE FOR THOSE THAT LIKE TO USE THAT WORD), but that's just a projection. As the time gets closer, I'll update the info as best I can.
