Looks Great! I looked at so many other guys FW's and didn't see any RED 1's. Oh well.... I like the scheme so I'm going with it as well.

Has anyone confirmed the very large blisters/fasteners that are molded onto the cowl ring? I have reviewed a ton of actual photos and cannot see this detail on any version of the 190. So I opted to remove mine. If there is such a detail, It must be very small. I'll then replace with more of a scale size. Just curious...

I've only seen it on the a-8.
I think they look like access holes with push in covers. The second picture looks like one is missing. They look more noticeable in the second picture.
Check it out.
good luck
Paul

I believe those are the mounting bolts to attach the armour ring to the cowl.

Thanks guys, The ones on the kit protrude quite a bit and are much larger than those. It would look more scale to drill out and put in a backer plate to give depth instead of blister. Armour cowl ring....The ring on the kit would have been a great place to add lead if needed. Too bad I already glued it on.....
Live and learn.
Got some more done:
I trimmed and fitted the canopy frame and glass. This kit comes with the required material to make a sliding canopy. Works out pretty slick. to get the canopy frame to allign with the forward frame was a little time consuming but it turned out nice.

Hisham, This kit can be purchased directly from the mfgr. in Germany. http://www.sist-modell.de/index3.html

Also: Fighter Aces in England: http://www.fighteraces.co.uk/

Also: DJ Aerotech in USA: http://www.djaerotech.com/dj_product/scale_fw190.html

They have limited production and usually a pretty long wait period
