Well, I stopped by and he has a good selection and many types of models. He's a very nice guy and obviously trying to get things going. Afterward we went out and around San Antonio and checked out one of the local new fields. As far as the business goes, typical startup conditions, he's been doing it on a small scale for some time and my estimation is that it's steady but not really growing. If you order something you'll get it, just make sure it is in stock. If it isn't, he'll tell you and you can order it and wait, he also can make them with a custom color scheme just for you. I didn't find out what those costs would be. However.... I took a look at a very nice Yak 54 (50CC) he had, and was giving it some thought afterward. I was pretty sure I'd seen it at Aeroworks, and I was right. here's where the however comes....once I looked at the Aeroworks Yak 54, I saw that it had a TON of hardware and finishing touches already done, like preassembled surfaces that are already glued, and the price on it is like 50 dollars less. And probably the most important item of all, the Aeroworks Yak 54 appears to have an 80-page COLOR manual for assembly, or at least an 80-page download available (I read through the whole thing) which is very comprehensive. The Blazing wings Yak has a photocopied handful of pages which I looked through. Looked like 2nd or 3rd generation photocopy quality, if you know what I mean. So, Aeroworks is really far ahead here, although these might be China Models, they are not all equal and some distributors demand more from China Models and charge US....the modelers... less. That puts Aeroworks far ahead at least in this comparison, where they win hands down. In fact, I've decided to start scrounging around and try to scrape up $700.00 to get that Yak from them! As far as Blazing Wings is concerned, I wouldn't be concerned about his honesty, he is genuinely in business, but his pricing is a little high right now. We'll see what the future brings. So, there ya go, guys. Jim
